Why this glass door multideck fridge earns its place
The TEFCOLD Galaxy+ GP14FGD SS is a compact full-height glass-door multideck built to merchandise chilled stock behind two hinged glass doors. It presents 1.91 m² of display across five adjustable shelves, giving 629 litres of usable net capacity from a 1443-litre gross cabinet. The mirror stainless-steel finish, inside and out, suits front-of-house and premium retail settings where a wide cabinet won't fit.
It holds a -1 to +5 °C band suited to pre-packed chilled food and drink, with automatic defrost and an electronic controller keeping the temperature steady without manual intervention. Rated energy class B with an energy efficiency index of 12.0%, it draws 1335.9 kWh a year — about £334 a year in electricity at 25p/kWh. Running noise is 55 dB, and it is built to climate class 3.
The cabinet measures 1330 mm wide, 750 mm deep and 2040 mm high, and ships at 1350 × 770 × 2320 mm packed, so check your access route against the packed height before delivery. It weighs 285 kg net (369 kg gross), runs on a 220-240 V/50 Hz supply and draws 13 A, so a standard 13 A socket carries it. Cooling uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant with a 140 g charge.
