Why this glass door multideck fridge earns its place
The Galaxy+ GP10FGD is a glass-door multideck that pairs multideck display with the energy discipline of doors. Two hinged glass doors front 1.44 m² of display over five adjustable shelves, keeping chilled stock fully visible while the mirror stainless-steel finish inside and out gives a premium retail look. It is a doored alternative to open-fronted formats where energy and temperature stability matter.
It holds stock at -1 to +5 °C with automatic defrost under an electronic controller. The cabinet uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant (110 g charge) and earns a strong energy class B rating — the glass doors are a large part of why. Annual consumption of 1186.2 kWh works out at about £297 a year at 25p/kWh. Measured noise is 55 dB and it carries climate class 3 for air-conditioned retail floors.
External dimensions are 1018 × 750 × 2040 mm (W×D×H), a little over a metre wide and just over two metres tall, so check the 2040 mm height and packed size of 1100 × 770 × 2320 mm against your doorways and ceiling. It runs from a 13 A supply on 220–240 V, 50 Hz. Gross weight is 277 kg (264 kg net), so plan mechanical handling for delivery and positioning.
