Why this minibars & hotel fridge earns its place
The TEFCOLD TM45GC Minibar is a compact glass-door minibar built for guest rooms and small serviced spaces where drinks need to be visible, cold and out of the way. It has a single hinged glass door, a black exterior that reads neatly against room decor, and a white interior, with a gross volume of 38 litres and 34 litres of net usable capacity.
The minibar holds a temperature band of +5 to +14 °C, suited to soft drinks, water and wine rather than fresh food. Static cooling keeps running noise down to a measured 38 dB, quiet enough for a bedside or in-room position, and defrost is automatic under electronic control. It carries an energy class of G and draws 127.7 kWh a year — about £32 a year at 25p/kWh — and is rated climate class 4.
External dimensions are 402 × 485 × 565 mm (W×D×H), a footprint that tucks under a counter or into a cabinet, and it weighs 26 kg gross. It runs from a 220-240 V supply on a 13 A plug, drawing just 65 W. Refrigerant is R600a hydrocarbon with a 26 g charge, a low-GWP gas standard on efficient modern cabinets.
