The Smeg FAB5RDUJ5 is a compact mini bar fridge from Smeg's 50s Retro range, finished in a Union Flag design. Its styling is meant to be seen, so it works as a feature fridge in hotel guest rooms, boutique bedrooms, offices, reception areas, bars and showrooms where a standard white box would look out of place. At just 740 mm high, 404 mm wide and 569 mm deep, it is a true tabletop fridge that fits neatly into tight spaces without dominating the room.
It is a single-door mini bar fridge for chilling drinks and small items close to where they are served. The cabinet holds 34 litres across two glass shelves and maintains a temperature range of +8 to -14°C using a low-noise static cooling system. The door includes a shelf for bottles and a shelf for snacks, and an internal LED light helps guests find what they need quickly.
As a compact fridge it drops into a room, cabinet run or bar with a 21.5 kg footprint that does not need specialist installation. It runs from a standard 220-240V mains supply and carries a 2-year parts and labour warranty. With an energy class D rating at 61 kWh per year, it is economical to run even in a guest-facing location.
