Why this single door glass door fridge earns its place
The TEFCOLD SCU1425H is a single-door upright glass-door merchandiser built to display chilled stock from a slim floor footprint. One hinged glass door fronts five black sheet-metal shelves, presenting drinks and packaged product to the customer down the full height of the cabinet. The black exterior and black ABS interior give a clean retail look, and the 1990 mm body puts maximum display height on a compact base.
The five shelves take standard cans, bottles and packaged chilled lines, and the full-height glass door keeps the whole range visible while closed. An automatic defrost clears the evaporator without manual intervention, and a mechanical controller sets the running temperature. The cabinet uses R600a hydrocarbon refrigerant. Rated energy class D, it uses 682.6 kWh a year — about £171 a year at 25p/kWh — with an energy efficiency index of 38.9%.
The cabinet measures 595 × 595 × 1990 mm (W×D×H) — a 595 mm-square footprint that suits tight retail runs — and packs to 665 × 715 × 2150 mm for delivery, so check door heights and access before it arrives. It runs from a standard 13 A supply at 220-240 V, drawing 235 W. The R600a charge is 85 g.
