Why this single door glass door fridge earns its place
The TEFCOLD LGC2500 is a compact single-door glass merchandiser built to put chilled stock in front of the customer. Its single hinged glass door and 5 shelves give a 0.69 m² display face, with 496 litres gross and 405 litres net behind the glass, all in a white finish inside and out. The upright footprint suits grab-and-go drinks and pre-packed impulse lines in smaller retail spaces.
Day to day it runs at +1 to +8 °C on R600a refrigerant with automatic off-cycle defrost, so there is no manual defrost routine to schedule. It carries a climate class 4 rating and an energy class B, drawing 1350.5 kWh a year — about £338 a year at 25p/kWh. Sound output is rated at 58 dB.
The cabinet measures 685 × 805 × 2065 mm externally and ships packed at 745 × 860 × 2260 mm, so check delivery access against the packed height. At 685 mm wide it clears most standard doorways. It weighs 115 kg net (135 kg gross), runs on a standard 13 A supply at 220-240 V/50 Hz drawing 280 W, and holds a 110 g charge of R600a.
