Why this single door glass door fridge earns its place
The Tefcold FSC175H is a slimline upright glass-door merchandiser built for sites where floor width is the binding constraint. At just 435 mm wide externally it slots into aisle ends, counter gaps and narrow runs where a standard cabinet will not fit, putting chilled grab-and-go stock on show behind a single self-closing hinged glass door. The white exterior and interior with five white wire shelves keep the display clean and visible.
Defrost is automatic, so the evaporator clears without a manual routine, and the cabinet is run from a mechanical thermostat control. Cooling is on R600a refrigerant. At 967.2 kWh a year (energy class F, EEI 78.0%) it costs about £242 a year to run at 25p/kWh.
Externally the cabinet measures 435 × 505 × 2013 mm (W×D×H) with an internal 357 × 362 × 1410 mm, and it ships crated at 500 × 550 × 2060 mm, so check delivery access against the packed size. It runs from a standard 13-amp socket, and weighs 64 kg net (70 kg gross), making it manageable to position in a tight space.
