Why this single door glass door fridge earns its place
The Atom Maxi C1DBB is a single-door upright glass merchandiser built to put chilled stock in front of the customer rather than behind a solid door. Its hinged glass door and 0.98 m² of display area front 614 litres of gross capacity, 459 litres of it usable, with five adjustable shelves to set out grab-and-go drinks, sandwiches and pre-packed chilled lines the way the fixture demands. The black RAL9005 exterior keeps it reading as retail furniture, not back-of-house kit.
Day to day it holds -1 to +10 °C under an electronic controller, so you can run it warm for soft drinks or down towards zero for tighter chilled work. Automatic off-cycle defrost keeps the coil clear without manual intervention, and it is rated to climate class 3 for normal air-conditioned retail interiors. Running noise sits at 58 dB. With an EEI of 15.4 and 912.5 kWh a year, it lands at energy class B and costs about £228 a year to run at 25p/kWh.
The cabinet interior measures 660 × 595 × 1568 mm (W×D×H) and it weighs 141.5 kg, so plan a clear route and adequate handling for delivery and positioning. Cooling is on natural-refrigerant R290 with an 85 g charge, and the unit runs from a 13 A supply. Check that the final position leaves the intended socket within reach before siting it.
