Why this single door glass door fridge earns its place
The Combisteel 7464.0085 is a single-door upright display refrigerator built to sell chilled stock, not just hold it. The full-height glass door turns the whole cabinet into a shopfront: customers read the drinks, sandwiches and grab-and-go lines without opening anything, which keeps browsing quick and impulse buys moving. Standing 2 metres tall with a 382-litre capacity, it earns its place on a shop floor, in a forecourt chiller run or in a front-of-house spot where the stock needs to be seen and self-selected rather than asked for.
Day to day it works as a straightforward chilled display holding stock between +4 and +10 °C. Set it in position, let it pull down to temperature and load it, and the glass door with LED interior lighting lets staff and customers read stock levels at a glance so gaps get spotted and refilled fast. Keep the door seal clean and the door shut between selections, keep the airflow around the cabinet clear, and it holds a steady chilled display through a normal trading day. It is a refrigerator, so it is for chilled product only, not frozen. The cabinet weighs 80 kg and draws just 0.36 kW in use, and it runs quietly at 55 dB(A) so it suits front-of-house retail without noise complaint.
Before you commit to a position, measure the opening it has to pass through and the footprint it will stand in: the cabinet is 595 mm wide, 620 mm deep and 2000 mm tall, and it needs clearance above for the condenser to breathe. Leave space around the sides and top so warm air is not recirculated, keep it out of direct sun and clear of ovens, grills and radiators, and give it a level floor so the door sits square and seals. It locks for security if needed.
