Why this double door glass door fridge earns its place
The Tefcold FSC1000S is a high-capacity, double-door glass merchandiser for putting a full chilled range on show in retail and food-service settings. Two self-closing sliding glass doors front five white wire shelves, and the white RAL9016 exterior over a white painted-steel interior gives 524 usable litres (771 litres gross) of merchandised space. The sliding doors mean no door-swing clearance is needed at the aisle face.
Cooling is ventilated with automatic defrost under electronic control, holding a +2 to +10 °C band suited to bottled drinks, packaged chilled stock and grab-and-go lines. It runs on R290 refrigerant with a 120 g charge and is rated at 48 dB. At 2175.4 kWh a year (energy class F, EEI 79.6%) it costs about £544 a year to run at 25p/kWh.
Externally the cabinet measures 1000 × 740 × 2000 mm (W×D×H) with an internal 890 × 572 × 1533 mm, so plan for a metre of floor width and a two-metre height. It runs from a standard 13-amp socket on a 220-240 V/50 Hz supply, draws 450 W, and weighs 159 kg net (164 kg gross).
