Why this double door glass door fridge earns its place
The Atom Maxi C2DBB is the twin-door upright glass merchandiser in the Atom Maxi range, built to hold a wide chilled facing behind two hinged glass doors. It fronts 1.58 m² of display area and 1081 litres of gross capacity, 809 litres of it usable, across ten adjustable shelves — enough to lay out chilled drinks, sandwiches and pre-packed lines with room to plan the whole fixture. Black RAL9005 outside and a black interior keep the focus on the stock behind the glass.
Day to day it holds -1 to +10 °C under an electronic controller, so it can run warm for soft drinks or down towards zero for tighter chilled work. Automatic off-cycle defrost keeps the coil clear without manual intervention, and it is rated to climate class 3 for normal air-conditioned retail interiors. Running noise sits at 62 dB, and with an EEI of 19.7 and 1522 kWh a year it lands at energy class B — about £381 a year to run at 25p/kWh.
The cabinet interior measures 1163 × 595 × 1568 mm (W×D×H) and it weighs 197 kg, so allow a clear route and proper handling for delivery and positioning. Cooling is on natural-refrigerant R290 with a 110 g charge, and the unit runs from a 13 A supply. Confirm the final position leaves the intended socket within reach before siting it.
