Why this display fridge earns its place
The CX578 is the white, countertop model in Polar's C-Series display range, made to sit on a counter and put cakes, pastries and cold desserts in front of customers at the moment they order. At 885 mm tall, 428 mm wide and 386 mm deep, it runs at 0 to +12 °C and holds 68 litres on three adjustable shelves. Rather than storing product out of sight, it merchandises it — the display sits at counter height where it catches the eye in a café queue or at a till. Its compact countertop footprint drops onto an existing counter without needing dedicated floor space.
In service it works as a chilled display for finished product: cakes and patisserie you want on show through the trading day. At just 33.2 kg and needing only a standard 220-240V socket, it is simple to install. The cabinet is Energy Class A and uses just 1.8 kWh per day, so feed that into our energy label decoder to see the yearly cost on your tariff.
Because it is a countertop unit it needs a solid, level surface and a socket within reach rather than floor clearance; check the external dimensions against the counter space you have.
