Why this countertop cake display fridge earns its place
The Blizzard square-case cake display is built to show cakes, gateaux and patisserie from every side. Its four-sided case puts product on view to customers walking past or queuing, making it a merchandising fixture for a café counter, bakery or deli rather than back-of-house storage. Standing 1500 mm tall on a 650 mm square footprint, it presents cakes at eye level where they sell.
Defrost is automatic, so the cabinet clears frost on its own cycle without staff taking it offline to thaw. It runs on R290, a low-GWP hydrocarbon refrigerant, and carries a climate class 4 rating, which covers warm, busy indoor conditions. Sound output is 55 dB(A), worth weighing up for a quieter front-of-house space close to seated customers.
The cabinet measures 650 × 650 × 1500 mm (W × D × H) and weighs 165 kg, so it is floor-standing and needs a solid, level spot. At 650 mm wide it clears a standard 760 mm single doorway, though the 165 kg weight makes it a two-person move into position. Energy rating, gross volume, shelf count and electrical supply are listed in the specification panel on this page.
