Why this beer fridge earns its place
The Polar G-Series GL006 is a back bar cooler fitted with sliding doors. At 1350mm wide and 520mm deep, it is a full-width triple-door unit holding 330 litres across six adjustable shelves, built to sit behind or under the bar and keep bottled and canned drinks close to the point of service. Bar staff can restock and serve without leaving the till. It is a working storage cooler rather than a customer-facing merchandiser, running at a steady +2 to +8 °C.
The sliding doors are the defining feature day to day: they slide across rather than swinging out, so they suit a tight back-bar run where there is no room for a hinged door to open into the aisle. Access is by sliding the doors to the stock you need, which keeps the working gap in front of the cabinet clear during a busy service. The three-door layout lets you section stock across the cabinet so fast-moving lines stay closest to the pour point.
For siting, treat it as a fixed back-bar unit. The GL006 runs from 230V and draws 350W (around 2.7 kWh per day). Check the external dimensions and doorway access against your back-bar gap before ordering, and leave clearance for the sliding doors and for restocking behind the bar. The cabinet weighs 80kg and carries 2 years' parts and labour warranty. Craven Cooling can service the cooler if it develops a fault.
