Why this beer fridge earns its place
The GE999 is a triple solid-door back bar cooler built to sit behind the bar, holding 320 litres across six adjustable shelves. Three full-height solid doors keep the contents out of the customer's eyeline, so it works as bulk storage for bottles, cans and mixers rather than a display cabinet. It puts a working stock of drinks within reach of the service point, with the shelving layout flexible enough to handle tall bottles, cans or glassware depending on the night's service.
The three-door layout means staff open only the section they are pulling from, keeping the other two closed during a busy service. Solid doors hold cold air better than glass when the cabinet sits in a warm bar environment, so the contents stay chilled without the whole cabinet being exposed every time a door opens. The unit measures 1,350mm wide, 850mm high and 520mm deep, weighing 80kg, so it takes up real floor space — plan the back-bar run early and allow clearance for door swings.
It uses R600a, a hydrocarbon (natural) refrigerant with a low global warming potential that is widely used in modern commercial coolers. The cooling runs fan-assisted to maintain +2–8°C across the shelving, holding beer, mixers and canned stock ready throughout service. It draws 280W on 230V mains, running at energy class B; the annual running cost is shown in the spec table so you can factor it into your operating budget. As a back bar cooler it is designed to be positioned behind the bar, close to the pour, for fast restocking through trade.
