Why this single door bar fridge earns its place
The SCL-2GMU+ is a single glass-door back-bar cooler that puts stock on show behind one hinged glass door. Gross capacity is 138 litres, 124 litres net, and the anthracite RAL 7021 exterior over a silver interior gives a display that reads as part of a fitted bar rather than a plain storage cabinet.
It holds +2 to +10 °C using ventilated cooling for even temperature across the cabinet, with automatic defrost and an electronic controller managing running without manual intervention. At energy class D it draws around 463 kWh a year — about £116 a year at 25p/kWh — and runs at just 41 dB, quiet enough to sit close to customers front-of-house.
The cabinet measures 395 × 470 × 735 mm internally (W×D×H) and ships packed at 825 × 610 × 970 mm, worth checking against your doorways and access. It runs on a standard 220-240 V, 50 Hz supply drawing 200 W, and uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant with an 80 g charge, a low-GWP refrigerant now standard across this range.
