Why this keg cooler earns its place
The CKC4 is a compact keg cooler built to hold beer kegs and bottled stock at cellar temperature behind a single hinged solid door. The cabinet carries a black exterior with a mirror-polished SS430 stainless interior, giving 190 litres gross and 189 litres net of cooled space. It suits pubs, bars and back-of-house areas where kegs need to sit at serving temperature close to the point of dispense rather than in a remote cellar.
In use the cabinet holds +2 to +10 °C across a ventilated cooling system with automatic defrost and an electronic controller, so temperature stays even without manual intervention. It is rated climate class 4, meaning it holds temperature in warmer ambient rooms up to the class limit, and measured noise is 45 dB. The unit carries energy class B with an energy efficiency index of 34%, and on verified consumption of 773.8 kWh a year it works out at about £193 a year at 25p/kWh.
Internally the cabinet measures 520 × 500 × 730 mm (W×D×H) and ships packed at 925 × 620 × 1050 mm, so plan delivery access around the crated size; it weighs 69 kg net and 74 kg gross. It runs from a standard 220-240 V/50 Hz single-phase supply drawing 240 W, and uses R600a refrigerant with a 95 g charge.
