Why this beer fridge earns its place
The FC629 is Gamko's FK2-25/4R keg cooler, a solid-door cabinet built to store and chill kegs at the point of dispense. It keeps your draught stock cold close to the taps, so cellar space is freed up and beer is poured from a chilled keg rather than one that has warmed on the way up. The solid door suits a back-of-bar or cellar-adjacent position where display is not the point. At 880mm wide and 860mm tall with a 567mm depth, it fits a compact cellar run or tucked beside the dispense point without the footprint of a wider double-door unit.
As a dedicated keg cooler it is built to run continuously and hold a working stock of kegs ready for service, taking the temperature swing out of busy sessions. The cabinet uses R600a refrigerant with fan-assisted cooling, drawing a modest 235W. It is the right-hinged version, so the solid door swings from the right — worth checking against the wall or run it sits beside so the door clears fully and staff can load kegs without a fight. At 67kg, it is lighter than larger models but still needs a level floor and careful delivery handling.
Plan the delivery route and the floor space before it arrives — a loaded keg cooler is heavy and needs a clear, level spot near the dispense point. If you are unsure whether it fits your cellar or bar layout, or how it ties into your existing dispense, our team can advise before you order.
