Why this four door bar fridge earns its place
The Serrco by TEFCOLD SCL-2222GMU+ is a high-end back-bar cooler with four hinged glass doors, presenting chilled bottles and cans behind full-height glass in an anthracite RAL 7021 cabinet with a silver interior. Gross capacity is 616 litres, with 574 litres net, and an electronic controller runs the cabinet. It is built to merchandise drinks at eye level along a bar back while holding them at serving temperature.
Ventilated cooling holds the cabinet at +2 to +10 °C for even chilling across all four doors, and defrost is automatic so there is no manual downtime. It runs at 41 dB, quiet enough for a front-of-house bar, and draws a published 798 kWh a year — about £200 a year at 25p/kWh — at energy class D. The cabinet uses R290 refrigerant with an 80 g charge.
Internally the cabinet measures 1820 × 470 × 735 mm (W×D×H), and it ships packed at 2250 × 610 × 970 mm, so check that packed width against doorways, corridors and any lift on the delivery route. Electrically it needs a 220-240 V, 50 Hz supply and draws 300 W. Craven Cooling can advise on siting and delivery, and supports the cooler in service once installed.
