Why this double door bar fridge earns its place
The SGD-240GE is a Serrco by TEFCOLD backbar cooler with two hinged glass doors, built to chill and merchandise bottles behind the bar. The anthracite RAL 7021 cabinet with a silver interior gives 282 litres gross, 260 litres net, keeping a working set of bottled stock cold and on show where staff and customers can see it.
It holds a +2 to +10 °C band with ventilated cooling, automatic defrost and an electronic controller. Rated noise is 47 dB and it draws 280 W, so it keeps bottles at serving temperature without a heavy load on the bar's supply. R290 refrigerant, with an 85 g charge, does the cooling.
The cabinet is 1040 × 425 × 682 mm internally and ships packed at 1145 × 640 × 965 mm, so check the packed dimensions against your access before delivery. Net weight is 105 kg, 118 kg gross. It carries an F energy rating at 2577 kWh a year — about £644 a year at 25p/kWh — on a 220-240 V single-phase supply.
