Why this double door bar fridge earns its place
The Serrco SGD-240E is a two-door backbar cooler that keeps bottles, cans and mixers cold within arm's reach of the pumps. It offers 260 litres of net capacity (282 litres gross) behind two hinged solid doors, finished in anthracite RAL 7021 with a silver interior — a working chiller for the back-bar run rather than a display cabinet.
Cooling is ventilated, holding a +2 to +10 °C band with automatic defrost and an electronic controller, and it runs at a quiet 47 dB — low enough for a busy front-of-house without adding to the room. On energy it sits in class E, drawing 889 kWh a year, which works out at about £222 a year at 25p/kWh, with a measured energy efficiency index of 63.7%.
Internally it measures 1040 × 425 × 682 mm (W×D×H) and ships on a 1145 × 640 × 965 mm pallet, so check the back-bar gap and delivery route before it arrives. It weighs 111 kg gross, 98 kg net, runs from a standard 220-240 V/50 Hz supply, draws 280 W, and uses 85 g of R290 refrigerant.
