Why this double door bar fridge earns its place
The Serrco by TEFCOLD SCL-22MU+ is a two-door backbar cooler designed to sit behind the bar and keep bottles, cans and mixers cold within arm's reach of the server. It has two hinged solid doors rather than glass, an anthracite RAL 7021 exterior and a silver interior, giving 299 litres gross and 275 litres of usable storage. The solid doors suit back-bar positions where stock is worked from behind rather than displayed to customers.
It holds +2 to +10 °C using ventilated cooling for even temperature across the shelves, with an automatic defrost and electronic control. Natural R290 refrigerant (an 80 g charge) and a 230 W input give it an energy class of B — about £92 a year at 25p/kWh on its rated 366 kWh — and a rated noise level of 41 dB keeps it unobtrusive in a front-of-house bar.
Internally the cabinet measures 870 × 470 × 735 mm and it ships packed at 1300 × 610 × 970 mm, so the packed depth clears a standard doorway for delivery. It runs from a 220–240 V / 50 Hz supply. Position it with clearance around the ventilation so the cooling can breathe.
