Why this beer fridge earns its place
The IMC Mistral M60 FP725 is a double-door bottle cooler from IMC's Mistral range, built to hold bottled drinks cold and ready to serve at the bar. It measures 850 mm wide by 600 mm deep and sits at 500 mm tall, so it fits a standard back-bar run without dominating the counter. Bottle coolers sit in the front-of-house line, so staff pull a chilled bottle straight to the customer without a trip to the cellar. It keeps a working stock of beers, mixers and soft drinks cold at the point of sale, which is where a bar earns its margin during a busy service. The double doors give two loading points so you can restock and serve from either end when the bar is under pressure.
Day to day it holds a chilled bottle stock ready for service at +2 to +6 °C, using forced air cooling and running on just 225 W of mains power. The noise level is 65 dB(A), worth checking if it is going in a quiet or customer-facing spot. Load it so cold air can move freely around the bottles—it has 4 shelves and holds 119 litres of product—and keep the busiest lines to the front for fast reach when service runs hard. The cabinet runs on R290 refrigerant (low-GWP, environmentally friendlier) and uses around 590 kWh per year to operate.
Weighing 73 kg and built from stainless steel with a painted black finish, it's robust enough for continuous bar use. It needs a position with a power supply nearby and clearance around it for airflow, so plan where it sits before delivery. Confirm the delivery access route in, as the cabinet is 850 mm high but the doorway has to accommodate the width and depth. It comes with a 2-year parts and labour warranty, and Craven Cooling can advise on siting and servicing.
