Why this triple door upright glass door freezer earns its place
The TEFCOLD Galaxy+ GPF3D is a three-door upright glass door freezer in a white finish, built to hold frozen stock at eye level behind full-height glass. Three hinged heated glass doors give 3.2 m² of display area, putting frozen lines in front of customers without the cabinet being opened. The heated glass is designed to stay clear, so the merchandising keeps working through the trading day.
The cabinet runs between -21 and -18 °C under electronic control, with automatic hot-gas defrost that clears the evaporator without manual intervention. It sits in the D energy class with an energy efficiency index of 46.5%, and at 12,921 kWh a year that works out at about £3230 a year at 25p/kWh. Sound output is rated at 65 dB, and it carries climate class 3 for a normal indoor retail environment.
It arrives crated at 2600 × 850 × 2390 mm and weighs 488 kg gross, 463 kg net, so plan the delivery route and floor loading before it lands. Power is a 220–240 V supply drawing up to 16 A with a 2212 W input, so a dedicated circuit is worth specifying. Cooling uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant with a 150 g charge.
