Why this triple door upright glass door freezer earns its place
The Galaxy+ GPF3D is a triple-door upright glass door freezer, built to display frozen stock through full-height glass whilst holding it at -21 to -18 °C. Three glass doors give a wide run of frozen retail display — 2,468 litres — for self-service, where customers pick straight from the cabinet without staff intervention.
On energy, the cabinet is rated class D with an energy efficiency index of 46.5%. It consumes 12,921 kWh a year, which at 25p/kWh comes to about £3,230 a year — a figure worth modelling against your own tariff, as a large frozen display cabinet runs hard year-round. The triple-glazed insulated glass and heated doors help prevent condensation buildup, keeping the display clear and product visible.
At 2343 × 751 × 2005 mm external, it needs careful doorway planning and floor loading assessment. Confirm door access, floor loading and the incoming 220–240 V/50 Hz supply before installation; Craven Cooling can talk the fit through and size the electrics with you.
