Why this single door upright glass door freezer earns its place
The Tefcold UF400VSG is an upright glass-door display freezer built to sell frozen stock rather than just hold it. Behind the full-height glass front, four white wire shelves present 400 litres of gross volume (340 litres usable) at eye level, giving customers a clear view of the product before they open the door. The SS430 stainless exterior and white ABS interior keep it looking clean on a shop floor or in back-of-house.
The cabinet holds a -24 to -10 °C band under static cooling, managed by an electronic controller, so frozen product stays hard through the trading day. It carries climate class 4, rated for standard ambient trading conditions, which covers a warm shop floor. At energy class C it draws 2664.5 kWh a year — about £666 a year at 25p/kWh.
Externally the cabinet measures 600 mm wide, 585 mm deep and 1855 mm tall, so it needs a 600 mm floor slot plus clearance for loading. Packed for delivery it goes out at 690 × 650 × 2050 mm, worth measuring against your doorways and access route. It runs from a standard 13-amp socket on a 220–240 V supply and weighs 85 kg gross, 80 kg net.
