Why this single door upright glass door freezer earns its place
The Tefcold LGF2500 is an upright glass-door display freezer built to sell frozen stock through the door rather than store it out of sight. A single hinged glass door fronts 0.69 m² of display area, putting ice cream, frozen ready meals and bagged product at eye level where it drives impulse pickups. The white cabinet holds 496 litres gross, 405 litres net.
It runs ventilated cooling across a -25 to -14 °C band, with automatic electric defrost so you are not scraping ice off the coils between services. Climate class 4 means it holds temperature in the warmer ambient conditions of a busy shop floor. Rated noise is 59 dB, and at energy class C it uses 2843.3 kWh a year — about £711 a year at 25p/kWh.
The cabinet stands 685 mm wide, 805 mm deep and 2065 mm tall, so check door heights and lift access before delivery — packed it ships at 745 × 860 × 2210 mm and 140 kg gross. It plugs into a standard 13 A socket, drawing 650 W at 220-240 V. Cooling uses natural R290 refrigerant with a 120 g charge.
