Why this single door upright glass door freezer earns its place
The MONDIAL ICEN40 is an upright single glass-door display freezer for merchandising frozen stock in customer-facing retail. The glass door lets customers see and self-select frozen lines without opening a solid door, turning freezer space into a display fixture for ice cream, frozen food and grab-and-go frozen stock. It stands upright on a slim footprint, so it works as a shop-floor freezer rather than back-of-house storage.
It runs on manual defrost, so it is periodically switched off and cleared of ice build-up as part of its routine rather than defrosting itself. It uses R290, a natural hydrocarbon refrigerant with low global warming potential, and carries a climate class 4 rating, so it is built to hold temperature in the warmer ambient conditions of a busy shop floor. The full temperature and energy figures are in the specification table on this page.
The cabinet measures 600 mm wide, 620 mm deep and 1865 mm high, so its 600 mm width slips through most standard doorways, though the 1865 mm height is the figure to check against low frames and ceilings on the route in. It has a gross weight of 103 kg, so plan for two people to move and position it. Electrical supply details are listed in the specification table.
