Why this single door upright glass door freezer earns its place
The Combisteel JDE-600F BL is a single-door upright display freezer finished in black. Its full-height glass door puts frozen stock — ice cream, frozen desserts, ready meals and bagged frozen food — on show at -18 to -22 °C, so customers can shop the cabinet before they open it. The single-door format and black cabinet suit convenience stores, forecourts and food-to-go sites with less floor space. The cabinet holds 560 litres of frozen storage across its shelves.
The glass door lets staff and customers see stock at a glance and keeps the freezer shut between selections, which helps it hold temperature. The door carries heating to prevent ice-up on the glass, and the cabinet defrosts automatically so staff don't need to manage defrost cycles. LED interior lighting keeps the shelves on show while the cold stays sealed in. The cabinet runs at 61 dB(A), one of the quieter models in the Combisteel range. The energy label decoder turns the class and kWh figure into a running cost in pounds per year on your own tariff.
A single-door upright is more forgiving to site than a double. The external dimensions are 750 mm wide by 710 mm deep by 2003 mm tall, and it weighs 159 kg gross. Check these figures against your floor space and delivery route before ordering. Confirm the electrical supply and circuit requirements on the spec with a qualified electrician, and leave ventilation clearance around the cabinet. Craven Cooling can advise on siting and power.
