Why this double door upright glass door freezer earns its place
The TEFCOLD Galaxy+ GPF2D is an upright double-door glass-door display freezer. The glass fronts put frozen stock on show through the doors, so customers can see and select without the cabinet being opened, which suits convenience retail, forecourts and food-to-go where frozen lines need to sell themselves.
It cools with R290 natural refrigerant and clears frost with an automatic hot-gas defrost cycle, controlled electronically, so it holds a steady frozen environment without manual defrosting. It carries a climate class 3 rating and runs at 65 dB. Rated energy class D with an energy efficiency index of 42.3%, it uses 8139.5 kWh a year, which works out at about £2035 a year at 25p/kWh.
