Why this supermarket freezer earns its place
The VIEW 250CF VS is a large-format display cabinet that runs as either a freezer or a chiller, so a single unit can cover frozen lines this season and chilled lines the next. Its temperature spans -22 to +10 °C, giving 1,320 litres gross / 860 litres net of holding capacity behind 1.93 m² of display area — enough to build a serious frozen or chilled aisle in a supermarket, convenience store or forecourt. The anthracite (RAL7016) exterior gives it a modern retail look on the shop floor.
It runs static cooling on an electronic controller, with automatic hot gas defrost so the cabinet clears itself without being shut down during trading. It is rated energy class D at 3,796 kWh a year — about £949 a year at 25p/kWh — reflecting its size and the wide -22 to +10 °C operating range. At 54 dB it is a larger cabinet with a correspondingly higher sound level, best sited in an aisle rather than tucked against a quiet counter.
The cabinet measures 2500 × 980 × 970 mm externally, 2345 × 820 × 880 mm internally, and ships packed at 2606 × 1066 × 1028 mm — so plan both the aisle run and the delivery route carefully against the packed width. At 220 kg gross it is a sited, multi-person installation. It runs on a standard 220-240 V supply through a 13 A socket and uses R290 refrigerant with a 127 g charge, with a white interior.
