Why this supermarket freezer earns its place
The SUPER ARV215DE is a jumbo-format top case display freezer built to merchandise a large frozen range at eye level. It offers 760 litres gross and 642 litres net across a 1.7 m² display area, split behind four hinged glass doors and carried on eight shelves. The panoramic top case layout lets shoppers browse and self-select frozen lines without opening a lid, which suits high-turnover supermarket and convenience settings.
In use the cabinet runs a frozen band of -24 to -18 °C and manages frost with an automatic electric defrost, so there is no manual routine to schedule. It draws 1300 W and is rated energy class C at 5657.5 kWh a year, which works out at about £1414 a year at 25p/kWh. Sound output is 48 dB, and it carries a climate class 3 rating for the ambient conditions of a typical retail floor.
The external footprint is 2500 × 940 × 880 mm (W×D×H), and it ships packed at 2505 × 1060 × 1670 mm, so plan delivery access around that crated size. Net weight is 462 kg (542 kg gross), so siting needs a firm, level floor and enough hands or equipment to position it. It runs on a 220-240 V/50 Hz, 13 A supply and uses R290 refrigerant with a 60 g charge.
