Why this supermarket freezer earns its place
The MTF Mini is a compact top-case display freezer for frozen impulse lines — ice cream, novelties and small packs — in stores where floor space is limited. Product sits under two hinged, self-closing glass doors on four adjustable white wire shelves, in a white cabinet that reads clean on the shop floor.
It holds a frozen -23 to -18 °C band under an electronic controller, using static cooling with manual defrost, so plan a defrost routine into the week. Rated to climate class 4, it runs at 58 dB. Net capacity is 170 litres, 200 litres gross. At 1518.4 kWh a year that is about £380 a year at 25p/kWh, at energy class C with an EEI of 25.5%.
Cooling is by R290 refrigerant with a 65 g charge, from a standard 13A supply drawing 212W, so it connects to an ordinary commercial socket. Internal usable space measures 1080 × 438 × 401 mm (W×D×H). The self-closing glass doors help hold temperature between customers and cut wasted cold air.
