Why this supermarket freezer earns its place
The EIDA 100B is a black impulse display cabinet designed to sit at the point of sale and turn footfall into extra baskets. It offers 1.6 m² of merchandising area in a black RAL9005 finish with a coated-steel interior, holding 217 litres gross and 190 litres net of stock on show where customers make the impulse decision.
Cooling is ventilated with automatic hot-gas defrost, managed by an electronic controller, and the cabinet runs at 59 dB. It carries energy class D with a low EEI of 36.0%, and at its rated 2956.5 kWh a year works out at about £739 a year at 25p/kWh.
The cabinet measures 1000 × 820 × 265 mm internally and weighs 260 kg gross, so plan a solid floor and a clear delivery route. It draws 370 W on a 220-240 V/50 Hz supply and uses 100 g of R290 natural hydrocarbon refrigerant. Confirm the siting and power point before delivery.
