Why this display chest freezer earns its place
The Elcold FOCUS 73 is a compact display chest freezer with a sliding curved glass lid, finished in grey with a white option and a hammered aluminium interior. Its 161 litres of gross capacity, 113 litres net, are built to merchandise frozen impulse lines — the curved glass lid keeps the product visible and within reach for self-service.
It runs a -23 to -16 °C band with static cooling, manual defrost and a mechanical controller, so it holds frozen stock steady and you clear frost down as part of a cleaning routine rather than on an auto cycle. Rated to climate class 4 and running at a quiet 40 dB, it suits a shop-floor or counter position. On its 430.7 kWh rating it costs about £108 a year at 25p/kWh, at energy class D.
It ships packed at 770 × 760 × 880 mm (W×D×H) and is light to handle at 47 kg gross, 44 kg net, so siting and repositioning are straightforward. It runs from a standard 13 A supply.
