Why this display chest freezer earns its place
This is a chest freezer with a glass cover, which turns a plain frozen chest into a display unit. Instead of an opaque lid that hides the contents, the transparent top keeps every line visible, so frozen stock sells itself from the shop floor. It is a merchandising format first — sited where customers pass, for impulse frozen purchases and self-serve ranges.
Day to day, the point of the glass lid is that staff and customers can read the stock at a glance without opening the freezer, which keeps the cold in and the browsing quick. Built from white painted steel with 60mm insulation and a manual defrost cycle, it runs quietly at 46 dB(A) and holds a 198-litre capacity at -18 to -24°C. It works as a standalone display point, dropped into a retail floor or counter run wherever frozen impulse lines need to be seen rather than stored out of sight.
It is a floor-standing chest, so it needs floor space rather than a built-in recess, and no joinery to install. At 767mm wide, 879mm high and 659mm deep with a gross weight of 53kg, it fits most retail layouts. Craven Cooling supplies, installs and services the range, so the same team that delivers it can keep it running.
