Why this fridge shelve earns its place
In a multi-shelf refrigerated cabinet, the middle shelf is where the cold is distributed. Air flows down from the top, across the middle, and to the lower zones. If the middle shelf is clogged, solid, or warped, you lose that distribution and develop warm spots where food deteriorates or becomes unsafe. This perforated grid maintains unrestricted airflow, protecting both food quality and compliance.
This shelf is engineered for the middle position in four Combisteel models (7455.2205, 7455.2210, 7455.2410, and 7455.2416). The light finish (natural stainless or epoxy-coated steel) coordinates with clean, bright kitchen environments—particularly useful in facilities where food safety audits and visual cleanliness matter. It resists fingerprints and minor wear better than painted finishes, staying professional-looking through years of daily use.
The perforations are evenly spaced to support GN containers, trays, and standard commercial crockery without flexing or sagging. Cleaning is straightforward—remove, rinse thoroughly, wipe dry, and reinstall. Because the shelf is perforated rather than solid, water drains quickly and hygienically, reducing the risk of bacterial growth in crevices.
