Why this fridge shelve earns its place
This is a side-by-side mesh grid designed to divide a wide shelf into two distinct merchandising zones. At 498 mm wide and 380 mm deep, it's built for the 7455.1918 cabinet where you need to hold two different product lines (or two different brands) on the same shelf without them visually or physically mixing. The left/right split is built into the moulding — you slot it in once and it creates two defined areas. Light still passes through both sections, so customers see both halves of what you're stocking, even if one side is fuller than the other.
The mesh in each section is open enough to carry small to medium items without risk of anything dropping through — packaged vegetables, deli trays, canned goods, small bakery items, dairy pots. The black plastic is rigid enough not to warp under reasonable shelf weight, and the dual-grid design means you can adjust what you put on each side without dismantling anything.
This setup is popular in delis and cafés where you want to stock complementary items side by side — cheese and cold cuts on one half, salads and dressings on the other, for example. Or you could use both halves for the same product type just to increase visibility through more of the cabinet depth.
