Why this product earns its place
A 28 cm round tray is the size that gets carried one-handed — a couple of drinks, a coffee and a bake, a bill and a card machine — balanced on the flat of the hand rather than lugged with two. That only works if the load stays where it is put, which is what the anti-slip surface is for. The bonded liner covers the entire tray face and continues up the side walls, so a glass that starts to travel as the carrier turns meets grip at the rim instead of a smooth edge to slide over.
The wet part matters more than the dry part. Condensation off a cold glass, a spilled inch of lager, a wiped-down tray that has not fully dried — that is when trays lose their loads, and this surface is built to resist slippage in exactly that state. The tray is polypropylene, black, and dishwasher safe, so it goes through the machine with everything else at the end of service rather than needing separate handling. Black is the practical front-of-house choice on a round tray: it does not telegraph every ring, drip and coffee mark between wipes, which keeps a tray in circulation looking presentable through a full session.
