Why this board earns its place
The biggest of this collection, at 350mm deep and 260mm wide, this board is built from oak in a rustic oiled finish—the wood choice here matters. Oak is denser than acacia and ages differently; it's traditionally the wood for boards that get real work and real time. The finish is a natural oil that enhances the grain and protects the surface through years of service.
The integrated handle extends 110mm from the board and runs the full width, giving you confident grip whether moving the board with one hand or two. At 15mm thick and 1 kg, it's solid without being unwieldy—weighty enough to feel robust when loaded with a full spread, yet not so heavy that it becomes a burden to carry.
This is the board for the composed sharing platter—the kind where you've spent time arranging cured meats, cheeses, pickles, breads and garnishes, and it needs to travel from the pass to the table as a whole, in one considered moment. Oak's natural character and density make it the finish that improves with age; this is the board you keep.
