Why this board earns its place
At 345 mm long and 285 mm deep, this is the middleground: large enough for a proper shared board, not so outsized that it dominates a compact counter. It's the format that feels right for a whole cheeseboard, a composed vegetable platter, or a selection of cold starters arranged for sharing. The acacia grain and warm honeyed tone add craft without pretension.
The 15 mm thickness keeps the visual weight light—you're looking at the food, not at a thick frame around it. At just over half a kilogram per board, they're easy to handle throughout service: move them from prep to display, swap one out when you need to refill, handle them single-handed if you're balancing other things. A pack of five means you can maintain a complete rotation: some on display, some being prepped or cleaned.
Acacia is a genuine hardwood, dense and reasonably resistant to staining, but it's not sealed. Wipe promptly after service, hand-wash without soaking, and dry fully before storage. The material itself feels substantial and honest—no laminate, no veneer—which is why customers notice the difference between these and cheaper composite bases.
