Why this platter earns its place
Mid-century design doesn't mean compromise on utility: these Churchill Alchemy boards combine a genuine aesthetic with the durability catering demands. Each board features a soft, geometric shape that catches the eye without distraction, sitting comfortably at 295 mm wide and made from lightweight rustic acacia—far easier on the back during a service rush than solid hardwoods.
The finish is food-safe lacquer over wood, which is durable enough for daily plating and presentation. A handle loop runs through the board, making it genuine work kit: you can grip it one-handed whilst presenting charcuterie, cheese, or cured meats, or move four boards at once from prep to pass. Stackable when not in use, so they don't scatter storage.
You get four in a pack, which means you can keep a set out for service while another set dries or rests in the back. The 0.65 kg weight per board makes rotation and handover seamless, a detail that compounds over the course of a full service.
