Why this mini bucket earns its place
Bucket pots handle the small holding jobs that a plate does badly. At 90 mm across and 90 mm tall the D9934 stands things up rather than letting them lie flat and spread — wrapped cutlery, straws, breadsticks, a portion of fries, a bundle of sachets. Lockhart lists it for service and display, and that is genuinely two jobs: it goes out to the table as part of the dish, and it stands on the counter holding what customers take for themselves.
Stainless steel is what lets it do both. A pot in that position gets knocked, refilled, wiped and washed several times a day, and steel absorbs that without chipping at the rim the way a glazed or moulded pot does — a chipped pot comes straight out of service, a dented steel one carries on. It also stays presentable under counter lighting and wipes back to clean rather than staining from vinegar, sauce or grease. Height and diameter matching at 90 mm gives it a squat, stable stance, so a run of them lines up along a counter edge without being knocked over every time someone reaches past.
