Why this tong earns its place
Pasta service seems simple until you hit volume. You need tongs that won't twist, bend, or lose grip halfway through plating. The Schneider pasta tongs are one piece of stainless steel with multiple teeth on each side—it's the simple design that works because there's nowhere for failure to hide.
The "multiple teeth" matter more than they sound. A fork or smooth tongs will slip on wet pasta; these teeth dig in and hold, whether you're pulling spaghetti, twirling penne, or lifting fusilli out of boiling water. At 205mm long, they're short enough to work nimbly but long enough that your fingers stay back from steam. The weight is negligible, so you can work fast without fatigue, and the tongs don't fight you on long services.
The whole tool is polished stainless steel with no welds, handles, or moving parts to go wrong. It cleans in seconds and stands up to high-temperature dishwashing without pitting or discolouring. Plenty of kitchens buy pasta tongs in bulk because they're cheap to replace, but good ones shouldn't need replacing. The Schneider will outlast most utensils in your drawer because there's simply nothing to break.
