Why this spoonula earns its place
A spoonula does something a spatula can't: it scoops and folds simultaneously. The spoon-shaped head has the contact surface of a spatula but curves inward slightly so you can scoop mousse, custard, yogurt, or folded cream rather than just push it around. On the turn, it flattens against the bowl to fold and incorporate—one tool, two motions.
In bakery work, this matters. You're folding whipped egg white into chocolate, then folding chocolate into cream, then portioning the mousse into cups. With a spoonula, you're not switching between a spatula for folding and a spoon for plating. With a dairy, you're stirring soft cheese, folding in fruit, and scooping into containers without lifting the bowl. The 355mm length gives reach without unwieldy bulk, and the strong hygienic handle keeps the blade perpendicular to the work even under pressure.
Rubber won't gouge or discolour, and it mixes superbly—the larger surface area means every stroke moves more product. Dishwasher safe and built to work daily. If you're doing repetitive folding and portioning in a busy kitchen, a spoonula is a time saver.
