Why this strainer earns its place
The 100mm diameter puts this between a finishing sieve and a workhorse. Olympia designed it for tasks that need control: sifting spice blends, dusting plated food, straining a small pan sauce, sifting cocoa or icing sugar into a small bowl. The plastic handle keeps it light in the hand and makes it comfortable to hold at an angle without fatigue. Stainless steel mesh and rim; plastic grip.
At this size, you're looking at a tool for finesse, not volume. A pastry chef will reach for this when plating. A kitchen porter throwing twenty litres of stock through will want something bigger. But for the precise jobs—where you're straining small amounts and you care what falls through—this is the right size.
Completely dishwasher safe. The stainless steel takes any amount of washing; the plastic handle won't degrade in the heat. After a hard service, pop it in the rack and forget about it. No specialist storage, no hand-wash-only nonsense.
