Why this tidy box earns its place
A carryall exists to stop staff making four journeys. Everything small and loose in a kitchen — cruets, sauce bottles, wrapped cutlery, cloths, tape and pens, the bits that get cleared off a table at reset — ends up scattered until something gives it a home. The 400 × 290 mm footprint is about the size of a small tray, so it sits on a bench, a shelf or a trolley without claiming a whole section, and it can be carried in front of you rather than balanced.
The 115 mm sides are the working detail. That is deep enough to stand cruets and bottles upright so they arrive the way they left, and to stop cutlery walking over the edge when someone puts the box down harder than they meant to. It is also shallow enough to see the contents at a glance and reach straight in, which a deep crate never allows. The silver finish keeps it presentable enough to carry through a dining room on a reset rather than something that has to stay behind the pass.
