Why this warning sign earns its place
A catering kitchen has hot surfaces everywhere. Ovens, griddles, pans, warming tables, fryers, and steam-heated equipment are part of normal work, but visiting staff, trainees, and contractors won't know which surfaces are dangerous just by looking. This Vogue sign communicates the risk visually and consistently.
The sign is 100 mm tall and 200 mm wide in portrait format — large enough to read from across a prep space, small enough to stick on equipment itself if needed. Vinyl construction makes it durable in heat, moisture, and general kitchen wear. Unlike paper or cardboard, it won't degrade in a busy catering environment.
Placement is straightforward: on or near any equipment that reaches dangerous temperatures during normal use. Ovens, heated pass shelves, griddles, frying stations, and warming tables are the obvious spots. The consistent design means staff recognise the warning instantly without needing explanation.
