Why this insulated trolleythermo boxe earns its place
The Cambro Ultra Camcart is built on a clever insight: catering deliveries happen in tight spaces. Kitchen passes are narrow, van doors are tight, stairwells don't accommodate wide trolleys, and narrow corridors are the rule in hotels and function rooms. This trolley takes the proven Cambro insulation design and stacks it tall and narrow — 1370 mm tall, just 520 mm wide — which means you can actually get it where you need it to go.
Despite the narrow footprint, it holds 114 litres, which is real capacity. That's a full gastronorm tray in front-loading configuration, plus roasts, salads, and plated items. The foam insulation is exactly what you get on the larger Cambro transport units — durable, effective, and designed to hold temperature for hours. The airtight removable gasket creates a proper seal that doesn't let heat escape or let warm air get in.
At 39 kg empty, it's significantly lighter than the Large version but still solid construction. The polypropylene shell takes regular catering-kitchen wear. You'll manhandle it with a dolly, and the narrow design means one person can navigate it through kitchen doors and up hotel service stairs without struggling for space or balance.
