Why this thermo boxe earns its place
This Cambro GoBox is a workhorse for food transport. Built from durable polypropylene with EPP (expanded polypropylene) insulation, it keeps food at the right temperature for the journey—whether that's from your central kitchen to a remote catering site or from prep to event. At 155 litres, it holds a meaningful load: easily 60 × 40 cm crates, bakery pans, or full-size sheet trays stacked together.
The adjustable rails are crucial. They let you configure the interior space exactly for what you're carrying—crates one day, gastronorm pans the next, mixing bowls the day after. Top-loading access is straightforward: open the lid, load your pans in, close and go. No faffing. The hinges and latches are built for real work; they'll take years of opening and closing without wear.
The material itself is chemically resistant—it won't be damaged by oil or grease spills—and shock-resistant. Drop it, slide it into a van, bang into a doorway. It absorbs impact without cracking or denting the way a softer plastic would. And if you're running hot or cold pans, you can mount a Cambro thermal exchanger on the back to actively maintain temperature across longer journeys.
